About Me…a little more

Hi there!

I’m Leanne, a Canadian designer with over 12 years of experience. I am based in San Francisco, USA, and I am ready to embark on my next adventure.

My design career started in Interior Design, which instilled a deep appreciation and discipline for structure, aesthetics, and the human experience. Inspired by Japan’s stunning digital media displays, I pursued multimedia design. Throughout my career, I’ve worked in branding, packaging design, front-end development, user experience, and product design across various industries, from fintech and enterprise SaaS to creative agencies and startups

I am driven by purpose and the desire to make a positive impact. My values—integrity, empathy, and innovation—guide my work. Seeing beyond the present, I craft experiences that shape the future and ensure products are intuitive, inclusive, and impactful. I believe great design is a team effort and lead with kindness and humility, mentoring designers and fostering collaboration. I thrive in highly complex and ambiguous environments, embracing uncertainty to deliver thoughtful, user-centered global solutions.

Some fun facts:

→ Street art fascinates me—I love to travel and often explore alleyways looking for hidden gems.

→ I enjoy experimenting with flavours and creating French pastries and entremets.

→ In my spare time, I write city guides focusing on where to find the best pastry.

→ I volunteered as a  UX consultant for Seeking Sanctuary, an organization providing refugee support.

→ A global citizen at heart, I’ve lived and worked in the USA, Canada, and Japan.
